Judy SorensenJudy Sorensen is the President of National Foundation for Debt Management and is primarily responsible for making recommendations regarding all corporate matters and establishing company-wide administrative objectives, policies, programs and practices to ensure the company’s continued safety and soundness. In addition to her fifteen years’ experience in the field of financial education and counseling, Ms. Sorensen has lengthy experience in the residential mortgage industry having held various positions in retail loan production and legal/regulatory divisions. A 1991 graduate of Thomas Cooley Law School, Ms. Sorensen is a member of the Virginia State Bar. In addition, she is admitted to practice before the DC Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of Virginia. Ms. Sorensen has extensive public speaking experience and is also the President and Chairman of the Board of the Financial Counseling Association of America.

Executive Director

Russell GravesRussell E. Graves, the Executive Director of Consumer Credit and Budget Counseling was in banking for 12 years, and until 1996, served as Assistant Vice President and manager of the Finance Department of Collective Bank. In July 1996 he joined Consumer Credit and Debt Counseling as a Counselor. He left in early 1998 to start up Consumer Credit and Budget Counseling. He received his Masters of Business Administration in Finance and his Bachelor of Science in Economics and Finance from the University of Hartford.
