May 20, 2006 - NFDM receives prestigious HUD Agency approval


The Homeownership Counseling Center is pleased to announce NFDM’s formal approval as a Housing Counseling Agency with the Dept. Of Housing And Urban Development. This is a prestigious distinction that has been awarded to NFDM that allows us to apply for housing grants, special programs and incentives to better serve our clients, employees and our local community. It should be noted that our formal application was streamlined for final approval due to our exemplary performance since NFDM started the Homeownership Counseling Center two years ago.

Our mission is to provide, at no cost, education, guidance and tools to empower individuals and families to obtain homeownership. Our vision is to build stronger communities through neighborhood revitalization, innovative types of counseling and financial assistance programs for anyone striving for the American Dream. We are very proud of our accomplishments to date, but our confident that our true measure of success will come from our families and friends that we help enable to buy their first homes.
